It's truly amazing what happens when you don't play prevent D and you rush the passer...

We hired a DC that we removed from DC as an FCS. Im going to bet we just continue to accept the familiar.

Re: Georgia St Game Day Thread
Zac looks frustrated by the plays being called. Offense is starting to look like the early 2014 Mountaineers...run between the tackles...rinse, repeat...punt.
Defense doesn't look bad. Now, if they can just intercept a couple of these wounded ducks GA State keeps putting up.

Good pressure finally on d. Their qb is not good under pressure.

We have used the word vanilla for weeks now. I think that shipped sailed. We need to consider going past page 3 of the playbook. Stacking the box with single coverage beats us. Where is Henni?

So far, our first down calls SUCK.

Early on if we're going to have a chance in this game it's up to the defense. Offense is pathetic, no other way to put it. Hope things change.

Re: Georgia St Game Day Thread
I don't think it's so much play calling as it is execution by our QB. He is just going through the motions. We can't run the ball because our QB is playing terrible, poorly placed balls, not throwing when receivers are open. So we can bemoan the play calling till the cows come home but it doesn't matter until 12 decides he wants to play up to his ability.
