Why does it feel like Clark is still learning the game, we had the ball 4th and 5 with over 30 seconds left and he takes a timeout when he could have run the clock down to 10 seconds before our field goal giving ULL a chance to score. its the little things that separate the good from the great.

Although Peterson had two questionable running play calls, he cannot make 18 catch a wide open pass... And cannot make his QB not throw it even when he sees defender back up to cover receiver.

You are right about that, but he never seems to get our offense in any kind of rhythm at all. It has been an entire season and we still seem disjointed on offense. And that is with an offense that returned an ton of very experienced players. I wasn't impressed with his hire (mainly because my hate for Marshall runs deep and includes all their former players and coaches) but I have been even less impressed with his performance of our offense.

He may or may not be right hire. Time will tell. I do agree we should never hire a coach fron Marshall. I believe we had to adjust due to coach leaving after a short period of time.

Last 3 drives their WRs have been wide open. QB just was not accurate on first of three drives. Started heating up last twi

And, he had all day to sit back, poor pass rush.

Their first completion on that last drive took exactly zero seconds off the clock. 23 seconds before and after the play.

Growing pains maybe, in over their heads as a staff possible. Some clock management and time out stuff is basic knowledge. I truly want them to figure it out. Just really questioning if they will. Each game looks similar in these two areas.

Wind looks minimum but the rain was very heavy early on and the ball looks very wet and heavy. Lots of bad mistakes on both sides due to the wet ball.

I realize a first time HC has a learning curve, just look at Satt's first year, but this is hard to watch. It seems basic but i guess not. Confident we get there in a couple years, but i am investing in tums 'til we get there!

Lets see what they learn in the offseason, to make adjustments and to stop mental mistakes

I cant agree with that the idea is to make lewis beat us with his arm, he cant but we cannot lose containment either. They will make plays no doubt, they are not going to be shut down. We HAVE to make plays ans catch the DAMN ball!
