Happy for Coastal, but dang does it sting. They're good and they have lucked into the year of all years to handle their business.

Bummed thinking about the last couple years where App controlled their own destiny and couldn't get it done.

Coastal was like nope, we're taking this. Probably a bit early, but they're lined up for the best season in Belt history.

Coastal’s coach will be gone after this year. He will be in the mix for any openings that come up.

Coastal wins out they may jump Cincy with strength of schedule and top 25 wins.

Good for Coastal and kudos to BYU for making it happen. This makes a prime case for the silliness of non-conference scheduling so far in advance. The Gamecocks would be foolish not to interview Chadwell.

In more ways the one. Look at the coaching rosters in the league. Lot of App guys.

Josh Miller & Tony Washington at CCU specifically, but others as well.... I believe in addition to Elliott, Legree is at GSU, Wilcox was there for awhile too, not sure if he still is & Brad Glenn & Ginny Thompson. Sloan & Foster at Georgia Southern.
