I just hope there is a game but if I could have anything I want....I want Buffalo in a state that allows attendance. I would be good with Myrtle Beach this year because of the date. I doubt we get the CUSA champ.

Marshall rematch in Conway

I really hope we don't play UAB again, but I saw where that was the ESPN projection last night. I would personally love to have a shot at redemption against Marshall, but I doubt that happens and I'm sure the Marshall fans would complain (not that I care). If we have to play a CUSA opponent in MBB, maybe FAU would at least be a new face. There's no team from the MAC I would care about.

At the end of the day, I will get pumped for whomever the Apps square off against in the final game for this crazy 2020 season! JUST WIN!

I would think that the pre-Christmas Bowls have notice this week (or as soon as the Championship games are played on Saturday)

After the doom and gloom threads this season, it would seem we would take anybody, anywhere, any time, any date. Half joking, half sarcasm, half true. Woops, that adds up to 1 1/2.

If App gets the bid to Myrtle Beach, here's how I see it playing out:

Inside the stadium-

• COVID forces SC state officials/MB Bowl committee to limit ticket sales

• Limited attendance makes high school-caliber stadium look even more pitiful on TV

Outside the stadium-

• Horry County officials don't care if you wear a mask

• Horry County residents wanna fight you for wearing a mask

• Horry County has a cornucopia of bars where you can get your beer/cigarette on

• Sketchy bars near CCU, but at least they're convenient to campus

It doesn't matter if you're a COVID Karen, don't mind wearing a mask or believe any PPE on your person is violently un-American. You'll be delighted to know a constellation of options are available in Conway for App fans to support our team. Just a few ideas:

1. App fans roll down to Dirty Myrtle in a raggedy school bus w/the top cut off and flood the Conway bars to support the team, COVID be d*mned.

2. App fans provide parking lot attendants with "meaningful financial incentives" to allow non-ticket holding App fans in to tailgate and raise the roof for the Mountaineers from the parking lot.

3. App fans take over the Outlet Mall on 501, finish Christmas shopping and be ready to mob Conway when the Black & Gold emerges victorious with the MB Bowl trophy [a piece of salt-corroded rebar perched on a base made from the hubcap from a 1977 Eldorado].

I welcome any thoughts/observations/additional attendance ideas here, pro or con. And yes, I'm glad I called in sick to work yesterday to game all of this out.

I don't think I'd call the CCU stadium "high school caliber" now that they've done their expansion. It's a pretty nice facility. I do hate that teal turf, but otherwise nice.

Hoping for MB vs a CUSA team, it would be the only 1 I'd be able to attend this year I believe.

I agree with you. I've been twice in the last three years and have zero issues with the stadium. The teal turf is bad. Tailgating is good with lots of room to spread out and although I don't use the bus service, it looks to run very smoothly. Getting into and exiting the campus is no issue.

I saw Western Kentucky mentioned as a possible opponent in Myrtle.
