My understanding is that there may be one more confirmed returning player that has yet to announce his intentions.

Excited to hear Dawkins is coming back. I have been impressed with him. I think he is a very underrated player on our DLine.

Diarrassouba may still be on the team, but it is my understanding that his playing days are over due to his hip. Has anything changed or is his scholly just being honored for 4 years?

Crosby is done. His injury was extensive enough that he can’t play any time soon. I can suspect some of the others on the list are going to be a no go. Of the rest, at least one is coming back. Just hasn’t announced it yet.

Wonder if Jolley, Virgil or Malik.

Jolly has another year and is just a late rounder. He, and honestly Jean-Charles as well, could help themselves in 2021. NFL scouts love to see turnovers such as picks from corners. Rashean Mathis of Bethune is a prime example. He was a 4th-5th round value going into senior year and his 14 picks pushed him to 2nd round. The only reason SJC left is agents told him he could not do anything else to help his stock since he had a better year than he did as a junior. Jolly had picks last year but did not really get them like that this year.

From what I have read, Malik Williams is expected to return. Virgil could help his stock as much as anyone. If he could have a year like Adams from Ark St he could go from a free agent to a solid mid round pick.

Of all of our guys it would help him the most for sure. I wish our staff would let rising seniors run for scouts at the junior day like they use to. Virgil would really put on a show in the 40. We use to do it and it is what got Dexter Jackson on the radar initially with a 4.36 at that junior day. It is the one area in which I think our school made a mistake but we aren't the only one who does not let them verify. I would imagine that Virgil would run a 4.3 for teams. Kaiden Smith is another one whose time would help based on what they thought last year.

I would also suggest our coaches have our top rising juniors run just to get measurables and a 40 on them for scouts for when they peak at them early. I would love to see Peoples, Harrington, Hampton, and Hodges measure and run the 40 along with them.

I really think Marcus will come back. In the post bowl interview he was asked about it and said his thinking was do you want this to be your last year without the fans or come back and do it right. I also think he was close to 100% for the bowl game which i think would also encourage him to return.
