An offensive coordinator that has a feel for the game and calls appropriate plays for our talent and makes halftime adjustments. I really don't think that is too much to ask for.

We have numerous players -- guys like D'Marco Jackson, Ryan Neuzil and Camerun Peoples -- who compete at the highest level without showboating. We could all take cues from them.

For next year and beyond, I'm hoping we still play with a chip on our shoulders but leave the chippyness back in 2020.

Literally been happening since Jerry Moore. In fact I believe Parker Collins was praised for that style youre talking about. I'm not trying to disagree with you but I wish more people on this board would stop trying to lay this at Clark's doorstep when it clearly predates his return to the Mountain.

I get it. Playing nasty is good, but sometimes, hold back a bit. No hitting players obviously going out of bounds for 15 yrd per foul penalty. No running into kicker or punter penalties, EVER. It's not worth rushing the punter for a once a season block, but constantly run the risk of hitting the punter or kicker, who will then act like he was shot

And as we saw in the bowl game from Hodges, no finishing your block till the whistle blows. Thats just too rough for North Texas. Sarcasm intended.
