Win (Bowls) APP!!

Although I do believe we should continue to celebrate the bowl wins, the level of competition the SBC played was somewhat less than P5 teams played. Even the losing teams matched in bowl games between P5 teams were better than the competition SBC faced in bowls. I realize the match ups are somewhat out of SBC control. I would have liked to see some more of our SBC schools with winning records playing against the NC States, WF, Wisconsin, Northwestern, etc to see how our teams would do. Once thing that makes March Madness so great are the first week Thursday/Friday upsets. The powers that be and bowl alliances do not seem will allow this to happen in football. Although I flipped my support away from coastal after their coaches comments before and after the Troy game as I thought it was embarrassing to the conference, both coastal and Liberty (and ULL) S hould have been playing P5 schools with winning records. The Liberty/Coastal game itself was good, however no one will remember and it will not be discussed on TV as wins by G5 against P5, etc.

Hope they built a large trophy case in the NEZ.

We won the other teams didn’t. Good for us.

From what I saw of last night's Orange Bowl, I don't think we would have matched up as well against the holes this year. It was still fun watching their wheels fall off in the 4th quarter.

That was their Super Bowl. They lost to a Florida State team we would have destroyed.

I don’t think there’s a team in North Carolina we can’t beat.

another year of being the best football program in the state of North Carolina.

I don’t know that we would have beaten State or UNC this year. Possible , maybe , but unlikely. Wake,Duke,ECU we could have .

We were NC's best team last year, and arguably the year before that.

This year... well, I'm glad we got the bowl win.
