Evidently the guy who posted it a few weeks ago did not. BTW, did you take a survey to back up your claim? Didn’t think so.

I did not start the argument wise guy. Just made a simple statement that Yosef donations could not be used for salaries. Then the cronies chimed in and made a bogus issue out of it.GastonApp09 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 12:08 pmDo you just get on here looking to start arguments with people?
My guess is that the OLB position will be filled from within.Appstate88 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 12:52 pmIn an effort to get this thread on the tracks....Who are the possible OLB coach candidates?
Could see DeBas move back to LBs and hire a safetys coach. I think that really depends on who the candidates are.Appstate88 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 12:52 pmIn an effort to get this thread on the tracks....Who are the possible OLB coach candidates?
As my college roommate, I fully support bringing Phil back!AppStateNews wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 3:16 pmCould see DeBas move back to LBs and hire a safetys coach. I would like to see us reach out to Phillip Hicks. He's currently a QC coach at Louisville and went there with Satt. He has experience coaching both DBs and LBs in this system. And bleeds black and gold!
Agree.AppStateNews wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 3:16 pmCould see DeBas move back to LBs and hire a safetys coach. I think that really depends on who the candidates are.Appstate88 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 12:52 pmIn an effort to get this thread on the tracks....Who are the possible OLB coach candidates?

Didn’t he try walking on, and didn’t make the team, but Satt kept him on as an analyst type role, and took him to UL in a similar capacity?AppStateNews wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 3:16 pmCould see DeBas move back to LBs and hire a safetys coach. This is exactly right. App is a lower resource athletics program. Look at what Napier makes look at the OC hires in the Belt this offseason. Not only can you get seasons tickets without being a donor, you can get seats in the NE without being a donor. App has a very good football team but a VERY small fanbase. There is simply no real demand for tickets. Yes, I know where we rank with attendance, but I wonder how many season tickets we sell compared to Boise St. I wonder how there Yosef Club equivalent compares. Much work needs to be done to get our program to where I team has been. That costs money. Money comes from fans. I'm not talking about real bigwigs, but rather people who are financially committed. The Rock wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 10:32 amWelcome to the life of a lower (resource wise) tier G5 program. We are good enough to get lots of recognition, but can’t compete with other peer G5 teams let alone P5. Braswell is an energetic and young guy looking for a solid career. Army will probably double his salary and exposure. He had worked with woody as a HS coach at camps at App. I expect woody to continue to poach our staff as he knows their character and skill and knows he can easily increase the salary. Unhappy about it? Give to Yosef club and encourage everyone who is also tired of the attrition to do the same. It’s not going to stop until we can be competitive with salaries like other G5 schools
I am not sure about that... I just know he's a good coach, a good dude, and bleeds black and gold. He'd likely come back for the minimal salary we have to offer. The Rock wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 4:00 pmDidn’t he try walking on, and didn’t make the team, but Satt kept him on as an analyst type role, and took him to UL in a similar capacity?AppStateNews wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 3:16 pmCould see DeBas move back to LBs and hire a safetys coach. They didn't want to lose him. $asu66 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 9:51 amI can't say this news surprises me at all. One look at Coach Braswell's body of work shows that whether by his choice or by pink slip, he hasn't stayed anywhere for longer than about three years. He has quite a few one-year stops under his belt. I suspect he continues to look for his dream job--but hasn't nailed it down yet. Maybe life on the banks of the Hudson River will be just "the thing" for him. It's another beautiful area!
College football coaching is a profession in which assistant coaches have to be both outstanding at their specialty and mobile in order to make mid six-figure money.
Did he go to coach at Army or join the Army? He's not listed on their website and they list 15 coaches between position coaches, coordinators, and head coach. How does that work? Shawn only mentioned that he resigned to pursue other opportunities.
