BACK IN BLACK
OK - I have a couple of questions - back in the day when we were attending every home game BACK IN BLACK was played when the team was entering. Today as I was listening to Rock on Pandora and they played the song which brings me to my first question - Do they still play BACK IN BLACK? - And my second question, shortly thereafter they played ENTER SANDMAN - How did this song connect to VA Tech?

Re: BACK IN BLACK
Doesn't much matter. They'd rather air commercials or play rap/hip hop music, etc. over the sound system...even when our NC's Band of Distinction is playing. Only half joking, WVAPPeer.
I'm pretty much positive that I'm the only one who feels this way, but I would be perfectly happy if the only music we heard in KBS was from our NC's Band of Distinction or soloists accompanying the band.

Re: BACK IN BLACK
If I understand the OP's question, why did Va Tech choose Enter Sandman as their entrance song?
It started when they installed their new scoreboard they were choosing a new song from 3 or 4 choices, one was Guns and Roses I think, but they chose Sandman, because they just thought it is an awesome entrance song. They were right.

Re: BACK IN BLACK
It's an oddly fitting entrance song for the Hokies, seeing how their lukewarm play on the field has lulled a generation of fans to sleep every Saturday for the past few years.Neer86 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 06, 2021 12:14 pmIf I understand the OP's question, why did Va Tech choose Enter Sandman as their entrance song?
