Football Parking Suggestions
We increased our Yosef Club donation level recently and are considering changing our home football parking lot. We have been in the same lot for several years and like it, but may try something different. We can always move back I think. Do any of you have any recommendations?

We park in the Rivers Street deck. Just far enough for a little exercise before the game and a downhill walk after an App victory. Also right across from the cafeteria. Great exit if you’re headed down 105. I uppped my Yosef pledge but requested keeping my parking in Rivers Street.

I believe that the 2022 parking situation in the stadium area will be very different once the old dorms come down. I'm waiting until then to make a change even though I've been at that donation level for a while.

That's exactly what we have been doing too. We have been tailgating on Rivers St Deck Roof for several years and like it there. It is convenient like you said and everyone is very friendly. We parked in Stadium Deck a few times last season and it seemed like a good lot, and a shorter walk, but it was during limited attendance. We just want to explore options and may request to come back to Rivers St if we don't like the change.Blackshirt68 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 5:08 amWe park in the Rivers Street deck. Re: Football Parking Suggestions
I asked for Library Deck roof this year. I like it over there. Close to the Bookstore and King St. so I can throw any goodies into the car. It’s a longer walk back, but it gives time for traffic to thin out and it’s an easy out to 421.

I never had a stadium lot space, but I miss walking through it on the way to the stadium.
Greenwood and Raley now offer the best atmosphere for tailgating and the energy that comes from them.

We use to park in Greenwood but the stairs back up got to be too much for my wife's knees. We now park in the Rivers street deck and love it. Convenient to cafeteria, campus and downtown.

Stadium was great back in the day but as the bandwagon grew it became a pain to navigate anywhere close to game time. I moved to Justice which was perfect but of course it’s gone now. I’ll just be happy at this point to be in KBS.

I had never parked or even been in Greenwood, but I saw how close it *appeared* to be to the stadium and bought a pass there for the Wake game. It was pretty good for tailgating, but that walk back was absolutely brutal.

I’ve been in Greenwood for the past several seasons and enjoy it. Plenty of elbow room but the walk back gets harder each year. I’ve requested a move to softball or mountaineer lot this year. I don’t know if that’s a good move or not but would like to try a new location as well. Recommend Greenwood if you can tolerate the stairs back.

If you can find something in Duncan it’s good. A number of spots even back up to flat grassy areas.

Re: Football Parking Suggestions
Legends lot is fun. It's one of the lowest (I think THE lowest) donation level lots, but man it was always a good time with good people and you get a nice walk across campus. I have no clue your age obviously but Raley (Peacock?) is always the most "exciting" lot, but be prepared to deal with all of the hammered students. I personally have long aged out of that scene but I have to say that energy is infectious. Library deck is very docile from what I've experienced, Rivers is a nice mix, and Stadium lot is pretty awesome. Greenwood was definitely laid back but has a good vibe and you have a lot of space.
