Leaving my seat in section 114, row 12, I headed to the concessions. Hadn't taken 2 steps up the stairs when I instantly recognized Coach Moore sitting in the ourside seat of the upper rows of section 115. I didn't think or ponder, I had to shake his hand. I stuck my hand out and he immediately shook hands with a big smile. He was so gracious, friendly, and humble. I thanked him for all he's done to move App forward in the football world. He thanked me but said the coaches that followed him have done much more.
I noticed many other fans stopped and he treated each one the same. A big smile and a firm handshake.

Re: Coach Jerry Moore at ECU game
An interesting point is here is the list of coaches/support staff who directly worked with Moore as a coach or player:Captain Morgan wrote: ↑Fri Sep 03, 2021 1:52 pmI love how Coach Clark has brought Coach Moore back into our program.
Clark (HC)
Jones (DC)
Cardwell (OL)
Debastiani (OLB)
---
Speir (Sr Analyst)
Ware (Sr Asst to HC)
Then those that came to us from just the Satterfield offshoot:
Ponce (OC)
Watts (AHC)
Bielaniec (S&C)
---
Blaylock (Dir. Pers)
Money (QC Def)
There's a bit of intermingling, but that's 11/21 of the current coaches/support staff, not including the GA's. Moore's influence on the program is still incredibly strong. However, we also have a strong outside perspective in the program. It's an amazing mix that is probably one of our keys to success.

Re: Coach Jerry Moore at ECU game
IN Addition… former #12 was there and took a lot of time to acknowledge people speaking to him and take pictures after the game. I didn’t notice him at first because of the knock-out blonde in front of him. While good to see him I hated he wasn’t on a roster somewhere.
And Coach Moore is a special person. We are all better for knowing this man.
App is just wonderful soul healing place.
