Nice way to stsrt the season for sure. Looked in on their message boards and they certainly aren't happy about it. I did find it disappointing how a couple of our fans are talking trash on their board. Makes us look like amateurs. Lets keep our class and keep winning.

Our best season opener since Michigan. All three phases of the game were well played.

Agreed. Despite my whole body being black & gold, I do have a bit of pirate blood in my system. My parents, both of my uncles & my cousins all went to ECU so I’ve known the Pirates for decades. Yes, they like to party hard & brag about their sports history but they are very respectful & their fanbase is just as strong as ours. We even made their day when we beat the Heels in ‘19; they absolutely cannot stand UNC.

Respect the Pirates my Mountaineer brothers.
