Confirming if NE Endzone seats are sold out

Unread post by PPKA2019 » Wed Sep 15, 2021 1:53 pm

So the App State website says the NE end zone seats are sold out but it shows that I can still purchase one for $100 for the Elon game. Can someone confirm what this means and where I'd be sitting? Can't find an updated seating chart on the website... maybe I'm just slow.

Quantity: 1
Price Level: North Endzone Club
Level: NE
Section: NEEXT
Row: 1
Seats: 18

Call ticket office or D'minia Stokes (stokesd@appstate.edu). D'minia is in charge of premium seating and would know the answer.

Listen to Daphne but I also was in a similar situation as you, I think the ticket you’re looking at buying is for the field level spots. But again, listen to Daphne over me.

Sounds as if we have some really outstanding attendance in the offing for Sat PM.

So I check into upgrading my tickets yesterday when I got the email and it was $250 per ticket for NEZ. I think they may still have tickets. (I think the $100 tixs are for the patio area) I could be wrong.

For 250 clams, they must serve caviar and vintage French Champagne. I can dream can't I?

They clearly did not look into other end zone clubs when putting stuff together. Build a buffet into the price for tickets allow it to be out 1.5 hours before kickoff and stay out until halfway through first quarter. Also have something out at halftime along with complimentary sodas, also used as mixers, water, and sweet tea.

It opens two hours before kickoff, it’s open until end of the game. Soda is $8 for the cup and unlimited refills.

I am current NEZ holder. I am okay with prices as long as FB team gets a cut. I see so many complaints about raising money and giving. This is one way to give I suppose if FB program gets a cut as stated.

Wake Forest club level charges for everything and these prices are fairly consistent from what I remember (it’s been a couple of years)

I think it is time, as I have not done so in a year or more, to say thanks for all you have done and continue to do for App State. It is great to have you as part of the Appalachian family.

Thanks! I do love my adopted alma mater.

I just wish I could convince one third of our alumni to donate $8.33 a month to Yosef. That would raise an additional $4,000,000+ per year and resolve all sorts of issues. :D

Wake Forest football end zone club, similar to Clemson in terms of food and beverage:

Food does NOT cost extra. This is what NEZ should have done. Alcohol is always a cost.

Climate controlled environment with indoor/outdoor seating
All-inclusive food and non-alcoholic drinks with a customized menu selected by the head chef
Includes 2 beer or wine vouchers
High definition large flat screen televisions
Private lounge
Private restrooms
Chairback seating

The NEZ has everything that you just described, other than the all inclusive food and drink vouchers. So I would say that they hit the mark. As for the food costs. You aren’t required to buy any of it. In fact, there is access to the concourse, via the field to buy cheaper fare.

I don't have NEZ tickets, I am just telling you as someone who has been to a variety of different end zone clubs, etc. that would be something to entice many. Also, it does not have an overhang for weather...originally I thought this was designed to have that....do you know why it doesn't?

Fair point. So the lack of free food is your opt out, because you get everything else on your list, plus an on field patio. It is my understanding that the overhang was scrapped due to some design issues. The team films from the roof so that actually might have something to do with it.

Not sure NEZ needs much enticing. For a first year and not 100% even sure we would have live football and some people not ready for live close proximity with people, I believe they have done well in selling seats.

No. I do not have financial ability currently to move over there. It is not free food, food is built into the pricing in most. On field patio is only for those that buy those from my understanding? Odd, I know of at least 10 with an overhang who also film from the roof top area.
