Crazy game. Not the result I wanted but fought to the end. I think Satterfield needed this for the Louisville fans to lay off him a bit.

He’s only loss is to one of those cheating SEC schools. Had he lost this one, I’m sure life would have teetered to being more on the hot seat. Looking at our possible path to the NY6, this was a big game for us. Now we need to pull for Indiana today and hope they take Cincy down. Pull for Miami too. 12-1 App St. has a good chance vs. any two loss AAC team to be selected.

Sad to say, but we have to pull for Satt to have another mediocre year to make this loss look worse for UCF .......and for UCF to possibly have another loss.

Based on some of the areas where we're thin on talent and injuries we got this game (QB Dillon Gabriel broke clavicle, probably out the whole season, starting C was day to day from last game, starting RB Bowser banged up his knee, star WR banged up) we're likely not a factor anymore for the NY6 race.
Which on one hand, is good for App that someone is out of the race. But after we helped by also starting Boise off with a loss lol. One the other hand, UCF getting hobbled like this takes away a potential challenger to help take down Cincy. Cincy would survive a decent loss to ND because of how overrated and over ranked ND always is.
