Cam Peoples?

Anyone know Camerun’s status after the game? Was he in the dog house the fourth quarter or was he dinged up. Watching the replay they mentioned he was limping on the sidelines but never heard anything definitive.

From what I could tell, he was dinged up. Don't believe it's anything to be worried about moving forward, but I definitely don't assume he was in the dog house.

SC said during post game presser Cam dinged his ankle a little and was ready to return but SC decided to stick with the hot hand Nate Noel.

I can't believe that Cam is in the dog house based on that fumble. He played a great game and wasn't being careless with the ball. It was an excellent defensive play/strip. Stuff happens. I assumed he was being rested since he was already dinged up before the game started (based on comments from Saturday). Once Noel went in and it was obvious his fresh legs were succeeding, no reason to put Cam back in. Great job by the whole App team!

Several tackles of Peoples were what I call “shoe string”. I don’t know if it was to injure the lower leg or just the way the guy tackles.

Cam was being a bit cavalier with the ball at the moment he got stripped. He was holding it with one hand in short yardage heavy traffic situation. You gotta wrap both arms around it in that situation.

He toted it 25 times. He’s not a machine. Wait….he is a machine.

Isn’t it odd that during the past two seasons every one of our running backs have suffered a nagging injury almost immediately after a fumble?

Cam has been dealing with a bone bruise since Miami game. He was noticeably limping Friday night before Elon. He is still dealing with said bone bruise. I am trying to confirm if the reason he sat out the rest of the Marshall game was because of aggravation of the same bone bruise or its a new contusion.

I really like Cam, great on the field, overcame a big injury, looks like a great teammate. But, he does put the ball on the carpet way to often. I think he was in the dog house.

Per ESPN that’s his first career fumble lost in 255 career carries:

Thank you. I was going to look because I couldn't remember a fumble. I know Marcus Williams, Jr. fumbled last year against Marshall. Maybe Mjohn is thinking of him. I do think he put it on the ground a couple of times last year but covered it.

I think the world of Noel, but Peoples is our #1 RB. He was doing to work during the part of the game when the D was fresh and swarming. Noel had carries in the first half and couldn't get free. Noel did a great job when his number was called in the second half, but he benefited from what had gone on before. I don't know why folks seem to want to assume the worst.

Highly doubt Cam is in the proverbial dog house. My money is on Coach played the hot hand and game one of his studs time to rest and heal. I'm sure Coach doesn't love fumbles though.

Fumbles happen and I’m sure that no one is more upset about it than Cam himself. I firmly believe that Cam was dinged up. We need him to last the season and he would have come back in the game if he were needed. Cam gives his all every play.

Peoples had 25 carries which is on the high end for anyone, fresh legs against a gassed defense never hurts, as we saw. We couldn’t ask for any better team effort than our backs gave.

I remember Kevin Richardson would pummel any opponent that caused him to fumble. It never really concerned me if he coughed it up early in a game.

Cam also had 3 TD's in the game. Any word on whether Harrington is gonna be back ?

Only word being given on Harrington is we might have him back in time for conference play.
