Brice @ GAst
Brice throws a pretty ball. That Malik touchdown was like butter. I feel like we are a more complete team with a competent QB to run the offense. Not a shot at Zac or Taylor, I just feel like Chase is a legit Vwristy guy and they were JV. Zac showed so much during and a little after Penn State and then really regressed in terms of his decisiveness and throwing.

He can definitely make the throws. If this evolves into a game thread our offense looks like crap. No Cam today. Guess no Virgil either. No consistency at all

Forgot to mention. Get to kickoff from the 50. Try something cool? Nope. Just got a first down run with about 30 seconds left. Try a throw? Nope.

I’m going to catch heat for this, but I don’t care. He has yet to WOW me. Sure, he’s made some great throws, but he’s also made some bad decisions that resulted in points and seems to under-throw receivers often. It’s his 5th game, I can’t say he’s better or worse than Zac or Taylor.

I've been really surprised by some of the conservative play calling at times when we could tighten the grip on momentum. I understand if we are trying to preserve players who are dinged up, but we could use a few lopsided scores to bolster our look currently.

That's what this site is for. You're entitled to your opinion and open up a differing view to discuss. I personally have significantly more confidence in Brice to make throws and move us down field.App_in_Maiden wrote: ↑Sat Oct 02, 2021 2:31 pmI’m going to catch heat for this, but I don’t care. Re: Brice @ GAst
The 3rd and 14 handoff to Castle at GaSt. 40ish was a head scratcher to me. In today's football, that is 2 down territory. Is Castle is the backup to Noel today, the transfer from ND must not have turned out to be all that as Castle is not that impressive to me at this level. I am not saying he never will be...I am sure he is a great kid..just my humble opinion

You are completely entitled to your opinion but I can count at least 10 passes he’s made under duress so far this season thomas never made. His accuracy is hands down better, his pocket presence is better. He keeps his eyes down field and his deep ball is infinitely better. Thomas was faster when the play broke down. But by any objective measure Brice is a better overall quarterback.

I get we run the ball, I love it, but take what they give you, 8 in the box every down. We have great receivers, feed them.

Re: Brice @ GAst
We do this every season. Go on the road against a bad conference opponent and look crappy and eek out a close ugly win. Then the coach talks about how hard it is to win a football game and we are just happy to get a win against a tough- fill in the blank.

Re: Brice @ GAst
Missing Virg and Cam seems to be hurting. Hoping Noel is ok or we may not have a run game the rest of the way. Have to get more points soon.
Malik needs to stop bringing it out of the end zone as well.
