In years past, bowl game tickets were already advertised and available for purchase once App became bowl eligible. They offered tickets for all the possible bowl destinations, in which fans could go ahead and choose which games they would like tickets for. I think I remember advertising it as a good way to ensure a good bowl for us by tickets already sold.

Is this not a thing anymore? I know there is a rotation of bowls, be we still know what that rotation is, correct? Is there a reason we are waiting to sell bowl tickets?

I believe that it was a easier when we were locked into 4-5 bowls per Sun Belt affiliation.

No. We are part of a larger pool of bowls that ESPN has that they use to make their matchups. Having said that, I am expecting that the Cure Bowl will be our destination.

What a letdown...I figured App fans are hoping and praying for another bowl in scenic Montgomery or Birmingham.

ESPN has the first pick of Sun Belt teams. if we win out and ranked top 25….there is a ton of bowls we could go to.

Of all of the bowl eligible teams in the SEC, Missouri is the last one that moves the marketing needle. Not many people nationwide would care about the story line that Drink used to coach App. If we had a shot at a SEC school in a bowl game I'd rather it be against a name people would remember years from now.

It's my understanding that there is a set amount of bowls (Cure, Boca, Camelia, ex) that we could be picked for, not just any bowl.

Jerry Palm has us projected to play Western Kentucky in the New Orleans Bowl (but, he also predicts a rematch of Georgia State and Charlotte for some reason). It all changes weekly.

We aren’t going to NO. Louisiana will go there.
