Louisiana will definitely be in both coaches (already out) and AP but I would think it is 50/50 for CFP. I'm going to guess that Kentucky or Minnesota takes the spot of UTSA in the CFP but I would imagine that Louisiana will at least be debated. I'm pretty sure that whoever wins the SBC Championship Game will end up being ranked in the final CFP though.

My guess is the line is that way because they know he is going to take it. If the line gets bigger then won't that be due to bets leaning heavy on the App State side? I would imagine many gamblers will indeed lean on App once Billy news is public for sure. Rematches tend to favor the team who lost the first time when the talent is close and I'm sure many people will bet with that in mind.

We, that follow our team and conference heavily, all know what we have seen all year. Barring a turnover bug or flu bug on our part for the rematch, we should be favored and win this time. We have been trending up with our defense since we last met. They are winning too, but I don’t think trending as strongly.

Attendance for the 2 championship games we’ve hosted was under 20k but weather had a big impact on that. However this weekend looks beautiful. Would have been a fine day for football game. I wonder if Louisiana can pull more than 18k on Saturday?

First year championship game in Boone had some rain. The second game was a beautiful day. We had to take layers off given the warm temps.

Looking at this years history, this game is a toss up. The absolute head scratcher is the head to head.

In the six common opponents, both are 6-0, but our average winning score is 43-13 where theirs is 26-20.

In statistical categories we almost mirror each other.

Crazy how the bottom dwellers of the conference played UL so much better than we did. Throw in the intangibles- revenge, Napier as lame duck, etc… and this one is really anyone’s guess.
One thing for sure- we don’t need excessive penalties or turnovers.

Last time, App played out worst game of the season by far, and Louisiana played their best game of the season by far. I just can't see that happening again. I expect a tough game, but I'm feeling pretty good about it.

App is way ahead in ESPN FPI so it is not surprising that line is in App's favor. We actually dropped (lost) 4 spots due to our 24 pt win over GATA.

The way our defense is playing right now it's hard to imagine LaLa scoring more than 20. I certainly think we'll put up more than 20 on them.
