Who Comes Back??

No doubt, today was tough. No one likes to lose, and it was excruciating watching our super seniors walk off the field for the last time. Quite a few Black & Gold legends in that group.
I’m already pumped for next season... that being said which seniors come back?
Chase is coming back, Daetrich is coming back... who else?? Would love for Trey Cobb, TD and Steven Jones to come back.
Post them here as we find out...

Is it confirmed Daetrich is coming back? I haven't seen that anywhere yet
I hope TD Roof comes back.

I'm not totally convened of that, maybe between the two of them they may come to the conclusion that staying at App would serve them both better. Even though TD is probably more than qualified to play at OK, possible accusations of nepotism wouldn't serve either of them very well. Just a thought

Not sure how the transfer rules would apply to TD. Someone on here probably knows better, but hasn’t TD already transferred multiple times? GT, Indiana, and App.

Tell TD we are behind him. He is a true Mountaineer who gives his all. A true leader for other players with great on field instincts. I personally think he will be the conference defensive player of the year in 2022 if he decides to lead the Jackboyz for one more ride.

Well if I talked to him I would. But I spoke with someone close to him yesterday and the conversation was quite sobering. We as fans see the opportunity to come back and play get free education as a win win. However, there are some very personal decisions involved from a player and parent situation. These kids spend a lot of years abusing their bodies with hours of forcible contact. We see the games but there is countless hours of practice and weightlifting. Some of these kids have endured abuse that we aren’t aware of. The long term affects of those instances has to be factored into the decision.

If we don't get better we will fall behind , farther behind. Louisiana is clearly top dog and their system is built for the long haul.The new coaches that have come into the league, and the new schools that will come in are serious about winning.

Is it though? They lose their Head Coach and three year starter at QB. The system might be there. But the coaching, and players are constantly in motion.

As of today , and the past two seasons,yes.I hear you though and hope the new guy screws it up.However ,if he's smart he continues to build upon their success as the formula is in place.I would invite you to look into how they do things , very impressive.

By how they do things, do you mean culturally or recruiting?
