Right now I'm still getting more info together but from what I've read I know we are really looking hard for 2 WR's 6' 4"+ for this class. With the limited number of ships stated for this year and the depth of similar receivers we already have they are mostly on the outside looking in right now. I'll know more in a little while but I'm figuring that Letman would be used as a WR. As I stated above he is a basketball player also, at least in his 2013 HS profile, and was shown on a couple of sites with a 40" vertical. Being 6' 3" would tie him as the tallest WR on the team with Jordan Noil and with a 40 vert that could be close enough to count as one of the 2 taller wideouts we're looking for. With the lack of available 6' 4"+ receivers on the market and the competition for them he would be a good fit and would have three to play two (2013 HS grad). Adams and Adonis Lee are really the only two 6' 4" offers right now that are still in play. The rest of our taller WR offers have committed elsewhere.moonshine wrote:Moose where are the coaches projecting Letman to play...WR or DB? Do you know if ZL is above Markeyvious Adams as far as targets? It would be awesome if we could land both big body prospects, especially if the coaches project ZL to play WR. Then they could redshirt MA since ZL would only have 2 years of eligibility remaining.
Hopefully with McGuire already on the team and Reed a solid commit this will help us with Letman. From reports he is a probable Jan enrollee (still checking that). Also looks like he's coming to the Ga St game for a visit. Would love to get him signed since I think interest in him will pick up before the Feb signing day. GMC has been good to App in the past and that is one pipeline I would love to see us keep working.
