Armanti was released by Edmonton. Would the GOAT be interested?

Scary to switch WR coach when it is such a big change over group this year.

Hope we make this happen. I’ve heard he’s a great recruiter as well.

So just a question for friendly debate. Would you rather have Washington as WR Coach, or Watts @ WR, Cardwell @ TE and a new OL coach? No wrong answer.

Great point, there are multiple options that could be taken.

At least we aren’t faced with a new QB, pretty much a new receiving corp along with a new coach to coordinate them. I really don’t get the position coach thing but wouldn’t a receivers coach have to mesh with the offensive coordinator?

Here’s our chance. Move Watts to WRs, Cardwell to TEs and bring in a solid OL coach.

This makes the most sense. Watts has 11+ years of successful WR coaching experience. Cardwell, a former TE with experience coaching TE’s.

Didn’t Kilgore retire from the NFL this past year after a 10 year NFL career?

I’ll throw another situational possibility out there. What do ya’ll think of Watts @ WR, Haines moves to TE and we hire a RBs coach.

Does this leave Cardwell at OL? I do not know whether he is a good, bad, average OL coach. Seems to be a recurring theme in YC with this thread and some others that we need help in this area from a coaching standpoint. I do not know whether he is or isn't. I will leave that to folks that are more in the know so to speak.
