Game Used Jersey Sale
Game Used Jersey Sale
To those of you who were not able to make it I just wanted to inform you about the awesome jerseys they had for sale at the spring game. They had black, gold and white jerseys available from various Mountaineer players. Some of the white jerseys even dated back to 07 and I noticed that a manager set aside a number 47 from the white jerseys. Could this have been the jersey that Lynch wore when he blocked the FG against michigan? Who knows but regardless the sale was awesome and I saw one lucky person get to own a jersey worn by Armanti Edwards. But I just wanted to pass the word along as the happy owner of a jersey worn by Jamal Jackson in 2012. In the future if a sale like this happens be sure to make the effort to make it there because as a recent graduate I found the sale well worth my time.

I bought two when I was there. A black 67 (year of my birth) and a gold 96.

That's cool!
I have two game-worn jerseys from previous sales at FanFest. A black #26 from my days at App State (very plain), and a black #13 from the 2005 NC season. I don't really wear jerseys anymore, but they are awesome to have. They'll eventually be framed once I have the space to display such an item.

I seriously doubt Lynch's Michigan jersey is still among the pile of used jerseys. Somebody has surely plucked that up, along with #2 and #14.

I will have a hard time wearing mine. The both are 2XL's, but tight. I only have to lose 5lbs to get into them.ASUMountaineer wrote:That's cool!

The black #67 will get framed

Wear them anyway. Just tell people youve got pads on, I would.kiddbrewer wrote: I will have a hard time wearing mine. The both are 2XL's, but tight. I only have to lose 5lbs to get into them.![]()

That is what I thought too at first. However, we noticed that the equipment manager who said they were from 07 picked out a few select jerseys and set them aside inside the ticket office. I could not see all of them but the top one was 47 and I am pretty sure I saw a 2 in there also. Maybe he was setting them aside for himself or for a friend. Whatever the reason he wasted no time in removing those jerseys before the sale started.GlassOnion wrote:I seriously doubt Lynch's Michigan jersey is still among the pile of used jerseys. The belly pad is bigger than the shoulder pads.
Re: Game Used Jersey Sale
Believe me I thought the same thing. However I did see that the equipment manager took a few jerseys from the white ones and set them aside before the sale started. There was definitely and 47,and I think one of the others was a 2. Maybe he was setting them aside for himself or a friend. Whatever the reason he was sure to grab some select jerseys from the 07 pile. Does that mean they were from the Michigan game, again I cannot be sure I just know what the equipment manager said in relation to their year and that he was quick to get the 47 jersey off the rack.GlassOnion wrote:I seriously doubt Lynch's Michigan jersey is still among the pile of used jerseys. If we play this right, we can morph this thread into the annual offseason BBQ thread, and keep all these poor schlubs occupied!firemoose wrote:GlassOnion wrote:$7 a quart.AppinATL wrote:So how much were they going for this time around?

Yes we could. How much trouble do you think we'll get in? Doesn't bother me much as I live for causing trouble, as my posts on here show. My biggest problem is I love all BBQ because it takes a lot of Q to support my 250 lb frame and I make my own sauce that combines both east and west styles. It must be pretty good since when I make 10 gallons I usually only get to keep a couple of bottles since friends and family take the rest.GlassOnion wrote:If we play this right, we can morph this thread into the annual offseason BBQ thread, and keep all these poor schlubs occupied!firemoose wrote:GlassOnion wrote:$7 a quart.AppinATL wrote:So how much were they going for this time around?

Gotta taste me some of that, I've got a little more room to 250, but less and less room everytime I check!firemoose wrote: Yes we could. How much trouble do you think we'll get in? My playing weight was 235 to 240 so I'm pretty happy I've been able to keep it down all these years, especially with my knee problems slowing down my exercise to nothing for big periods of time. It does get hard sometimes as everytime I go on a trip (very often) I'll look up and see if there are any good Q places nearby that I haven't tried. It's like every woman I've ever known and shopping (please ladies on here don't kill me, I'm talking about those I've known, not all women
