Hey Guys! Griz fan here. I wanted to let you all know that we've created a App State football fan page on Facebook, and we would love to get some App fans to like the page! We currently have fan pages for Montana, Eastern Washington, North Dakota State, and we're in the process of building more pages for other teams. We want to try to get fans from other teams to interact with each other more on Facebook, and these pages will allow fans to have fun and interact together more so than the official team football pages do. (We are doing this project because there are a lot of fans on FB who don't spend time on the forums because they either don't know about the forums or want to avoid the bs, aka eGriz)

We are also needing some App fans to be administrators for this page as well. Basically posting fun stuff that gets fans interacting together. We would love if someone on here would like to volunteer to be an admin or know of someone who would like to help run and help add App fans to the page! (It's kinda hard to do as a Griz fan who doesn't know many App fans!)

Anyways, we'd appreciate the help if anybody is interested! The easiest way for us to give admin access is for you to “Like” the page and then send a message to the FB page letting us know about your interest.

Looking forward to having you guys in Missoula this year! It's been a LONG offseason, and can't wait to get the football season started! It's sad that this will be the last game between our schools in the foreseeable future, but this game will be a thriller like they all have! Good luck this season! Go Griz and Go Apps!

The effort is nice, I suppose. There are however a few quibbles.

First, App is moving away from the ASU moniker. There's plenty of other ASUs out there. Use either App State or Appalachian State.

Second, get rid of the Flying Yosef logo. Use the Block A as that's the main identifying mark for athletics.

Third, the No Equal slogan is also a no go. It's been discontinued by the athletics department and plenty of App fans are glad to see it go.

Other than that, good luck.

Haha thanks for informing me on those quibbles! I'll make those changes! And since Kidd-Brewer is "The Rock", I'll probably replace the 'No Equal' with that. I appreciate the feedback!

Always Attack is way better than No Equal, but it is the football team's motto, not an official marketing campaign like No Equal was

One other suggestion I would add for this is to make sure you specify it is not an officla page, since App St football has its own FB page as well as a host of other official App St FB pages

While I am glad No Equal is gone, I agree Always Attack is worse.

I think we should go with "Always Complain."

Also note, that this is a football page, and "Always Attack" has been adopted by the football team. Seems completely appropriate.

"Always Attack" is a motto for this year's football team and a verbalizaion of Satt's vision for the way he wants to run his team. It's not an advertising slogan developed by the athletics department.

There's no need to compare to the Athletics Department slogan "No Equal". They are two totally different things with different targets and purposes.

Exactly. Which is why I suggested it be used instead of "No Equal" on a FB page created to discuss the football team.
