Don't normally see specific position coaches ranked on these types of things. I don't put too much weight behind this of course but it is nice to see that whoever this is has us on the list.

Considering the consistency that we have all conference level linebackers, I am surprised Dale isn't higher. I mean, we aren't ever going to get the 4 and 5 star recruits but we almost always have the best linebackers in the conference year in and year out. I think he should be higher.

Cortney Braswell (Army) and Ted Roof (OK), both former App St coaches, are on the list as well.

Is that the same Ted Roof who was criticized by a few for not initially running the same defensive scheme his predecessor ran the season prior for App?

Nope. It is the same Ted Roof who ran our defensive scheme all camp, every week leading up to a game, and then changed it Thursday before we played.

It's not a coincidence once he went into the booth and didn't have game planning responsibilities our defense was good again.

I'll yield to your far superior football knowledge ( not being sarcastic in the least). Just one query: which defensive scheme did we run the remainder of the season; the prior scheme; Roof's, or a blend of the two?

I would put ZERO weight into this. BigGameBoomer is just some guy that makes ranking lists for interactions, and he’s running out of topics. I wouldn’t be shocked if he does “strongest mascot” or “class clowns” next.
