Team entrance pump music?
If there has EVER been a time to have a grand, spectacular, fierce pump up entrance to set a lasting tradition.... NOW IS THE TIME.
VaTech does it up right as most know.
Tennessee running through the T is unsurpassed.
Share your ideas. Right now I could go for a solid taligate playlist to stoke it up.

Re: Team entrance pump music?
We should have "We Will Rock You" with some weird Viking clap that makes no sense

I read a DJ will be in charge of music, this could be great or a epic fail.

I've heard that as well. Kinda nervous. Like "real" DJ (hip twenty-something from Brooklyn) or Steve the Bar Mitzvah DJ?appgrad2010 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 2:29 pmI read a DJ will be in charge of music, this could be great or a epic fail.

Re: Team entrance pump music?
There is a new entrance video. Have not heard about a new entrance tradition.
I hope they do and it's Back in Black, Hells Bells, POD - Boom, or something of the like.
But honestly, I don't really care as long as the viking clap is gone!

Re: Team entrance pump music?
So positive: way more music during the game, some that should connect well with college football stadium
Bad: hardly any AC/DCs, Welcome to the Rock entrance should never stop, some of the rap songs were definitely not edited enough. I know almost all and some was a little to spicy to play at a football game, need more variety not just all rap.
Just pointing out things I noticed.
Also to the delusional fans who left early and/or think Brice isn’t good. You don’t know football and should refrain from attending or commenting anything out loud.

Did anyone notice the AUDIO was blaring when Chase was trying to call cadences in the second 2 point conversion? He didn't turn it down until the snap. That should not have happened.

Re: Team entrance pump music?
It really just depends on how crazy you want the music to be. I want the hype music to be voted on by the team. They are the ones that need to be hyped. If you are a fan and you aren't already hyped, that sounds like a personal issue.
Wild metal music and rap isn't for everyone. For as many people who would love to hear a Korn/Slipknot/Metallica/Behemoth/Evita/GWAR/RATM/ etc.., there are just as many that would get on this board and cry their eyes out about how that's not what they want to hear at our games. Might as well just play Duel of the Fates at that point.
If we had unlimited money, the most awesome way for the team to come out would be if they could dig a tunnel from the back of the current tunnel around and under the hill. Then bring the tunnel out of the dead center of the hill. Build up the outside of the tunnel with large stones like the entrance of a cave. Put some pyros in amongst the rocks. Make sure it's pitch black in the entrance area of the tunnel. Have some mics back in the tunnel with hidden speakers amongst the rocks. Let the players rock in the tunnel and let it boom into the stadium. Let this go for 2-3 minutes as the fans go wild, knowing what's coming. Get it so loud the other team feels it in their chests. Then insert chosen song, and the players bust out of the tunnel.

Re: Team entrance pump music?
On the entrance...I thought it was weak..the pre entrance music.. Play Me Some Mountain Music....that was sad... nothing wrong with the song in general...but the prequel to team coming out...then team entrance with music...did not think it was crazy loud like one would expect.

Part of that may have been the helicopter hovering over the East side. Pregame was pretty much unable to be heard on that side.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Mon Sep 05, 2022 1:37 pmOn the entrance...I thought it was weak..the pre entrance music.. Not complaining, I just think it affected the cues to the crowd.

This would be epic. Will never happen, but fantastic creativity!appdaze wrote: ↑Mon Sep 05, 2022 12:17 pmIt really just depends on how crazy you want the music to be. Re: Team entrance pump music?
My issue with the KBS game day music is that there is so much of it now, none of it is really meaningful.
Don't get me wrong, I love all kinds of music. But the music at KBS just seems forced...like they're just trying to fill silence between plays?

Re: Team entrance pump music?
I think some of that goes along with the overall issue that we are losing grip some on our identity. Ever since we moved up we have toyed with different songs, keep making changes with game day fan experiences things, and just can't seem to get the game day culture down. The fans carry it right now, but the admin and department need to figure out what they want to be. The music is a great example. Will we be the band of distinction or the piped-in music generic game day? Will yosef ride out on the field on a motorcycle or sit in a cabin on the hill? Will the chancellor walk around carrying trophies and leading the band, will they sit in the royal press box, or will they even be present? The list goes on and on but I will some decisions could get made so that the fans can grow and embrace who we want to be as a gameday atmosphere.
