UNC game discussion

Thought I'd at least try to talk about the upcoming game instead of parking and ticket prices.

If I've read correctly they have lost a starting WR (6-10 weeks) and the projected starting RB (for the year) so far.

They have the questions on Offense mostly, specifically at QB/RB.

Of course our big questions are WR and some on Defense.

Not sure if it is good that we get to see them in their first game, but they get a warm up before us.

Be better for us if their qb had no real game experience but holes seem to get way over confident when they blow out lesser teams

I did see the spread has dropped to 2.5 now, started at 3.5. Seems everyone thinks this will be a toss-up.

They have already started the “Super Bowl” talk. Imagine being so arrogant that even with nearly equal ranking and losing to us in our last meeting, that you can still walk around with that attitude.

It’s a big school in NC which is why there is so much hype. Playing Texas A&M the following week will be a much more difficult.

I hope our kicking game is ON.
These games in the past have come down to making or missing field goals .

I have good vibes about us this year.

Seems we used to always miss an extra point in P5 games and it hurt us bad.

Wake Forest (2017)

It has been very nice the last 3 years to have a SOLID kicker. This year should be interesting.

One advantage to UNC playing a game before us is that we'll have some game film to analyze and they won't. Although I can't imagine the Heels having to open up the playbook too much for that game. Add in that we have a new OC and hopefully they won't be well prepared ...just looking for the positives.

I can’t imagine if this had been a night game. Campus would have been in flames with a win.

If we are able to run consistently, we can absolutely beat them. They will stack the box and force us to throw to our new receivers.

It wasn't kicking, but we fumbled the snap on the two point conversion attempt after going up 23-22 against Miami last year (and lost 25-23)

We’ll then I cannot wait to see the Christian’s streaking down the sideline toward paydirt and yes I realize their names have two different spellings.

Looking at their away schedule and having experienced Kenan Stadium, our game will undoubtedly be the loudest and most lively atmosphere their team experiences all season, and by a large margin. So I guess maybe they’re right.
