Thought I’d share incase a fellow mountaineer was looking for a place to stay for a home game this year. Great new rental just at the edge of sugar and 10-15 to the rock.

Don't know if yours or just posting for a friend but the website says you have to stay 3 nights and I don't see people needing more than 2 for a home game. Most would have to get on the road Sunday to head back home for work on Monday.

Speaking of drive time, the bridge is being replaced on Highway 105 near the road into Valle Crucis. On week days, that means 105 will often be reduced to one lane of traffic.

Let’s say 20min as it’s well on the Boone side of sugar area.

I don't know this agency, but if a family is coming for a game, this is the way to go. Get to experience the nature of our Blue Ridge as well as the atmosphere of KBS...beating the Heels. We did it when our extended family was young even thoush we were in FCS at the time. Any football, any weather, any level, any opponent, is good football.
