The black uniforms look good, but they make us look skinny.

Carolina fans sound to loud on TV to suit me. Hopefully we made good money off them.

Yes, black uniforms are slimming which is to our advantage. The other team gets the impression that we are father away than we actually are, close things are bigger than far away things. It is all about creating an optical illusion.

Re: ESPNU
1) I will never complain about wearing all black. It's a great look. Couldn't care less if it makes us "look" slimmer.
2) We have played an "undersized" OL for 20 years. We are almost always "out-sized" when playing P5 teams and even many G5 teams. I wouldn't mind getting a little bigger myself, but if our guys can play (and they did on Saturday), who really cares?
3) Why do we have this comments / conversation so frequently as if we haven't had it 100 times before?

Likewise for the curmudgeons who get on this board and tell us what we should or shouldn't be talking about.

Re: ESPNU
Black uniforms have to be hot. I refuse to wear a black t-shirt to our games this time of the year because it collects sunlight. I think our science department needs to get the science to the coaching staff.
( I will admit I think our black uniforms are sharp) but if I am playing in the heat give me a white uniform all day long.
