We will be ready. We finally have a normal week...and we know JMU is good. I would be shocked to get blown out..fully expect a great game and hopefully a win...probably close but we'll see.

So the Dukes think they’ll put up 70 points on us. We’ll see what Dale Jones says about that.

With the portal the Dukes learning curve into FBS will be shorter than ours and GS. But I still don't think they beat us this year. And I hate Purple.

We really are an easily angered bunch. Thankfully the guy isn’t getting (wrongly) destroyed on Twitter-or wasn’t when I read it earlier.

It won't be a blow out either way. Will be a damn good game.

One thing overlooked from Troy game is our defense actually played really well in the second half. Only gave up 7 points. I haven't had a chance to go back and re-watch it to confirm, but what I noticed during the game was if we were bringing pressure it was delayed and coming off a read the LB had. That made the middle hard to throw in to unlike the first half.

Another underrated thing is they run essentially the same defense as us. So they know where the weaknesses are with certain looks. The adjustment in the second half really threw them off.

I trust Dale and company to get it right for this week but it's still going to be a dog fight. JMU is used to winning and has the transfer portal to bring in more FBS caliber players for depth.

This game was very valuable. We learned what to get better at on defense while getting the hard win. These guys have a very large heart and big kahonies. They got knocked to the mat then took the legs out from them and got back up with the win. JMU will be a tough out. They have a solid QB, but not sure their d can stop us. We can score on them.

If JMU is as good as Troy, I’d be shocked. But we will know by the end of the 1st half.
