We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Reverend, I put this post in the football folder because I didn't know which folder would likely get your attention the most. The three ladies for whom I asked your help in praying for... The mother, Ms Elsie died peacefully at around 90 years of age with her daughter by her side in the Lord's presence, thanks in part to your prayers.. She could not take any more pain medicine to ease the pain from the pancreatic cancer and degenerative hip. I was asked to be an honorary pall bearer by one of her last requests via her daughter. Zula, the other neighbor is now almost completely blind. Thankfully she has Elsie's daughter to help now that Alecia has the time. Speaking of Alecia, she lost her car due to the uncovered medical expenses. She is possibly going to get Zula's car in return for helping her do daily tasks and trips.

Thanks for the update. Often times ministers do not hear the results. I appreciate it.

Re: appstate77
Because my PM doesn't work sending out most of the time but sometimes works coming in. Too, I wanted other members of this MMB to know they can turn to 77 for non-judgemental assistance from a fellow Mountaineer..AppStateNews wrote: ↑Fri Oct 28, 2022 12:46 pmI hate these ladies are having a tough time, but why not send a PM?

You and i are kindred spirts in a way. I did my graduate work at West Chester. Loved the Philly area. Downingtown, Paoli, King of Prussia, the Main Line, Painters Crossing, York, Valley Forge area, Gettysburg, etc etc.

I've been putting off letting you know as the saga continues. Pray for Alecia to find the means to obtain a car...hopefully Zula's older S-10. Thanks again and bless App Nation whether we or they among us are believers or not.

Lived in West Chester for a while, by Immaculata College. Also lived on Valley Forge road.
Beautiful, BUT not Boone or the Blue Ridge mountains..... God's Country

Re: appstate77
We used to have some of the Immaculata ladies taking graduate courses with us at WCU. Sweet quiet smart ladies. If I recall they wore the habits or whatever they are called.PhillyApp1 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 28, 2022 8:21 pmI grew up near Villanova.NewApp wrote: ↑Fri Oct 28, 2022 6:10 pmThank you, Philly App for your response. Say, did you ever go up around the Poconos etc? Where the other half lived.
