Hope everyone in here advocating for a firing has their wallets ready to donate to the Yosef club. Put your money where your mouths are.
What if I told you there are good coaches that don't need millions?

You should let the 50+ FBS programs struggling right now let them know you can replace their AD!

We got what we deserved tonight and the season - coaching bone-headedness. He hasn't been the right hire so far. Three years and getting worse.

We are in for a worse record next year and thereafter. We came out hot in September and have nose-dived since the half at JMU, where the hell did our play calling and staying ahead of opposing defenses by our OC go? Slayer of bad teams we have been.

Before the season began, I figured we'd be 9-3ish, losses to UNC and A&M and maybe to Marshall of Coastal being that they were road games. Looking back, we could have been 3-9 if we didn't play Citadel and Robert Morris. This discussion just isn't where we should be as a program based on our success over the last 40 years.

If he can't be replaced for financial reasons, somebody better take Clark by the hand and portal about 20-25 players ready to contribute at all positions and ready to make a difference. He can get more talented players that wouldn't give APP a look in the homegrown process.

Our defense has been terrible the whole year and looks like we must take Ex-Lax before each game, nothing that I can see in recruiting of this next class or any in the past to make a difference for several years. Our O line? eeesh? QB ummmm? RBs ok, Receivers ok.

The overall financial impact of losing football seasons for the next few years the for the school and the relationship of it to the econmics of the High Country needs to be considered by our decision makers versus the impact of being penny-wise and pound foolish in retaining Clark and continuing in reverse.

Haven’t you heard? There are tons! Just fire Clark and hire someone! It surely can’t fail!

If true that players are gonna hit the portal in droves, got to make the decision sooner than later to see if you can get someone in that can recruit the players on our roster back. If players don’t indicate they are leaving, I’m willing to give him one more year, but there do need to be some changes on the staff.

If Dale Jones truly wants App to be successful he would retire and forgo any buyout to fire him… with that being said… what is his buyout ?

Tell me what DC would succeed with that defense that was limping onto the field? Honestly question. How would you scheme that defense

I know this isn’t the popular opinion as we’ve been decimated by injuries this year. Yea I know who cares. That doesn’t matter right? But if we are measured on wins and losses, our kicker doesn’t choke we are winning and going bowling. I’m prepared for the onslaught of insults I’m sure will he directed my way. But to fire Clark is sec level idiocy
We agree on a lot of things so I sincerely want to know what you’re seeing that makes you think we’re going to even be an OK team under Coach Clark. I’m seeing a 3 year downward spiral that ended with us basically going from first to worst in the Belt.

I shouldnt be able to announce what we are about to line up in and what we are going to do … or not do… and then see it happen… if I can do it then no wonder the other teams coaches have success….

D was really bad this year but Dale was given a pretty tuff situation. Either through injury or youth we basically lack talent across the board on defense.

My point is simple, but perhaps naive. My post is absolute truth - for the same reason there are not only 2 people worthy of leading the free world every 4 years. There are tens of thousands of individuals that could do a better job than anyone you place on a pedestal.

The only exaggeration I no longer buy is the Ferrari reference. We have some good players but for crying out loud we are not that loaded anymore. We took a bunch of key losses from our defense last year and if I'm not mistaken 3 of our 4 main linebackers are not playing anymore. We have slow ass defensive backs who chase after receivers and then either grab them or throw their hands up hoping the ball doesn't get caught. What ever happened to swivel hips with those guys? Play 10 yards off and on a 3rd and 10 try to keep the other guys at a 9 yard gain. Our lateral pursuit defense isn't there and the 3 man line gets no pressure (except a little bit tonight at the end of the game).

It’s been tough to watch. I guess I’m looking at personnel. Our defense looked small and slow all season. We replaced a lot of talent and the talent we brought back couldnt stay healthy. I have hated these losses as much as anyone in this board as I’m invested
Emotionally and financially as well. I hate to say it but next year is the year for Clark. If we sputter again that’s it. I agree changes may need to be made in the off-season but maybe not the ones people think

Why do some people always believe someone else is always better than who we have?

Three man rush EVERY third and long…

We are the most stubborn and unimaginative staff in the conference.
