They've done family day dirty here, $130/ticket.

Season tickets are a deal.

Personally believe EasyU tickets would have been $100+ no matter what weekend and be a sellout. When Family Day was announced as EasyU game, I actually thought it was a lost opportunity. Should have made Family Day another weekend...still could have charged $75/80 a ticket....at end of day, would have been more total revenue.
I get the schedule does not set well for FD. The only other choices are GW or SM. If I were athletics, I would have went with SM game in late October. GW game is too early for FD as kids just got on campus.

Does athletics choose the date for family weekend? I’m sure that there are discussions but I think the University decides that date.

The UNC game last season was $150, so it's a little bit lower than that.

The minimum number has gone up to $50 for a weekday game and $60 for a weekend game. Georgia State, Troy, Robert Morris and ODU were all $45 last season.

I would be surprised if there's any ECU/Family Day tixs left for the general public on the 19th.

It's centered around a football game, but I believe the university sets it after the schedule comes out.

The conundrum was that after ECU on Sept. 16, the next Saturday home game is Oct. 28, which is Homecoming, and won't be family-ish weather, as that weekend is usually in September. Gardner-Webb on opening weekend is Labor Day weekend. Coastal is on a Wednesday. There was no other good option.

Agree. The schedule didn’t do them any favors for sure.

Why should there be?

$260 for a pair to the ECU game prices me out. :( At least we should make some big money off the Pirates
