After the horrible experience of trying to get through the main entrance for the App/EasyU game in Greenville many years ago ...it was as bad as getting into Beach Chickens stadium last year. I will never forget. That alone grades them an F.

Actual stadium? Hands down ECU. Actual total package? Hands down App.

I proudly voted for App each time because why wouldn't I? But, our stadium itself is not nearly as nice/new/big as a few of these G5 stadiums. The game day atmosphere is the best and the fans are the most passionate - proven by this poll.

Both great stadiums. ECU is bigger, and louder. App's is more scenic; one of the most picturesque in CFB; also KBS's proximity to downtown and to be able to walk King St and all around campus is something I love. Both stadiums fit each respective program very well. I tbh like them both.

ECU is only louder when UNC, State, or Wake (and I guess now us) play there. Or if an AAC team is ranked and playing. It's more than half empty for 5 of the 6 home games most years. And it's located in the armpit of NC which brings it down at least a couple levels...

Houston has them back on the upswing, but their football program really took a dive after firing McNeil because the new AD (at the time) wanted his friend in that position..

Being from the coast of NC, I find. It hilarious that people think Gville is the armpit in terms of a terrible place to be.
Anyone of a sane mind would give that prize to Fayetteville/Lumberton area by a wide margin. It seems many of you have not been to many armpit like locations .. Lucky you.all!!

For the EasyU stadium (and average Joe seating areas during UNC gane..not premium seating..so strong fan support). Once you get inside (as entering can take longer than it should)., the seating is not bad, more room in between aisle seats so you can get in and out of rows compared to our West side. In the concessions area, more room to walk around and or room to move while waiting in line.
Lighting for night games are are much better than KBS.
I hate EasyU with a passion as it goes back to when UNCW and EasyU in same basketball conference when I was in undergrad. It was my first hate like Stink hated...hard for me to say anything good about EasyU..but here you have it ..
With that said, actual game experience at KBS has been better. Our students are more active for more quarters of the game. However , iwill give EasyU credit for the "Take No Quarter" thing they do between 3rd and 4th Q..
We win by a mile because of our fans and selling out more often. Just my opinion.
Love pregame and atmosphere during the game given fan support..other than NEZ, actual facilities are not that strong at KBS which makes it all so great to have a strong fan support at games.
