From what I've heard, McHugh is most likely red shirting. I'm not an insider, but that's buzz I've heard a few share. Thinking Coach is showing g respect for the player, but its still a two horse race. Best player plays. If its McHugh, so be it.

The preference as of now is to RS McHugh. But, his quick progression at the end of Spring brought him back into the mix. It's a true 3 man race to start Fall. I think Burger has the upper hand just based on his knowledge of the system and I would wager he will be named the starter in Week 1. But, competition is a GREAT thing -- especially at QB.

Love the competition. Thanks for the insight. I'm very optimistic about this year.
