I think it's great that David Jackson is hosting a radio show but I'm not sure how I feel about our head coach doing it. I've never heard of a coach hosting a show. Would any other D1 coach do this? I don't think so. Being a guest and being interviewed on a show like this is a good thing for our program but I'm not for the hosting thing. Your thoughts?

I think it's great. This is the 'outside the box' ideas that will set us apart.

Mike Krzyzewski hosts a weekly show on SiriusXM. What's the difference?

We didn't get where we are by doing things like others do things. Why start now?

I think it is an awesome idea and brings a fresh new-age approach to recruiting. Excellent marketing opportunity for the Athletics department. As far as other D-1 coaches hosting a radio show, I believe Fedora from the unc-ch is guest hosting on Monday.

Other AD's, coaches, etc have been/will be hosting over the next week

I think it is great. Scott is a sharp guy and will represent us well.

Satterfield can talk really fast when he gets into a subject he wants to talk about.
Some people may mistake him for a NYC guy.

I think Spurrier and Miles do it in the SEC.

I see absolutely no reason why our HC shouldn't be doing something like this in the off season. It's great publicity for the school and program. He will represent us well. I guess I'll have to catch it in the archives though.

FSU used to have the Bobby Bowden Show. Not unprecedented by any means. He also represents the University well. I'm all for it.

Will someone please tell us how it went. Three hours with DJ and Coach Satterfield - there had to be some good info.

I believe the biggest news came from Jason Capel. Our basketball schedule includes road games against N.C. State and Georgia, plus the aforementioned home game against UNC-Charlotte. Capel also seemed to indicate the game against the 49ers was made possible by his relationship with Alan Major.
