Re: ESPN
Disney irritates me via ESPN and their stranglehold on things, but Spectrum can piss themselves off a cliff.
As for the OP that shows us that ESPN has decided our brand has value in their eyes and is worthy of being highlighted. Rome wasn't built in a day. One step at a time.

Re: ESPN
Word of warning about YouTubeTV. I had it for a couple of years before I moved back to NC. It worked fine and I was happy with it but when ee moved we decided to go back to cable. I canceled the YouTube TV. They continued to draft my bank account for the subscription for months. It was impossible to contact them and get any kind of customer service. I finally had to file a fraud complaint with my bank to get the drafts stopped. I still haven’t been able to get a refund.

Re: ESPN
This may or may not go away based on recent dialogue I heard on Charlotte radio WFNZ. It’s no secret that Disney is losing lots of money and would like to sell ESPN as a result. So as these provider contracts come to an end either the provider pony’s up the dollars to extend or things end. Not really new as we have all experienced this with various networks and their providers but Disney/ESPN is seriously looking at making all of their service a pay service as they have with ESPN+. I think they mentioned $30 a month for all of it. Not sure if that number was a guess, rumor or what. Anyway, I don’t think this is going away and it’s a result of these “bundles” not solving the problems these large companies have created. Again, I may not have all the dialogue or rumors straight but it definitely gets the antenna up for the changing landscape. Stay tuned, if possible.

I've got the Hulu bundle and have been very pleased. Yes, the price keeps ticking upwards but its still cheaper than most other options and has excellent offerings.

Honestly be shocked if agreement isn't reached by end of today. I don't believe either side wants this to go through labor day weekend.

Re: ESPN
Going to give it until tomorrow morning. If it’s not settled before the games start, I’ll cancel and go to YoutubeTV. Been needing a reason to do it anyways.

Re: ESPN
Problem with Hulu is unless you pay a crazy monthly fee, you can't travel with it. Nor are you going to get even 1080p consistently. I'm running on fiber and Hulu did nothing but buffer for the first 20 seconds after every commercial break.
YouTube TV is far superior in quality for the price point.
