It’s after midnight so I’ll try to think of next week instead of the loss.
Their message board is in full meltdown it appears after their loss to Marshall. They had less than 300 total yards and 2 INTs. Their QB was the leading rusher with over 100 yards. Running for almost double what he threw for. Looks like the brought in the backup at some point.
Would appear if both teams play as they did yesterday App should win. But we’ll see in 6 days.
I won’t make it to the game and will be driving down to the CLT FC game so listening on the radio. But I pray for those in that traffic in Boone after the game, that’s going to be insane.

Taking 7 year old for his bday along with 3 friends he plays soccer with. Otherwise I would not be going. And wow it’s expensive too.

Interesting that currently ESPN shows EZU as a 55.5% favorite on FPI. See if that changes after yesterdays games are put in.

This Will be a tough game. EasyU will not want to go 0-3....and we spent much mental and physical energy.

I don't mean this to sound rude but who cares what they don't want! No way we aren't completely jacked next week. Our backs and receivers are loaded and offensive line looks solid. Joey is the real deal. If our defense is flying to the ball we should take it.

They like to “auto apply” a tip at the register, so make them take that off before you confirm the total when you purchase food/drinks.

Just make sure they hand over the food/drink before you ask.

What a game last night!! Met some great people in section 101. Time to move on. Lots of hope for this season. I have to admit I wasn't feeling great going into last night but from the coaching staff to the players they were prepared and ready to go. ECU will be a tough out but I think the team is building something special this year. App wins but it will be closer than people like.
BTW the amount of black and gold last night was amazing!!

We were in 202 row D. I could look easily over the railing to see 101-103 below...App. St. fans showed up last night indeed.

Pirates have a pretty stout run D, only giving up 120 & 130 to Big Blue and the Herd respectively.
Passing seems to be their Achilles. QB Garcia is more of a run threat after only averaging roughly 70 yards passing through week 2. Clean up pursuit and contain the run, force Garcia to try and win with his arm.

After sleeping on it and watching the replay of the final drives, this one still hurts. However, we played a much better game than the entire world thought we would. (And even half of this forum). The hunger was there and that’s what we needed to see this week. UNC can go ahead and not schedule us ever again, fine, if that’s the kind of program they want to be known as then go ahead.
We’re App, we do more with less and that’s always been who we are. Looking forward to being back in Boone this Saturday with a good group of friends for the Pirates Community College game. Mountaineers by 100!!!

Miller Gibbs going out really hurt the offense late, didn't like the 2nd OT play calls, besides that App offense played about darn near perfect, JA maybe tried to force one or two many deep ball when the under WR was open.
UNC playing calling in 1st half (wildcat formation) kept App in the game early, that was a disaster for the baby blue.
I hate to say this, but this Saturday game possibly biggest game of Clark coaching career, (seems we type this once a year) take UNC to the wire and have 0-2 ECU in Boone....
I just don't like the back to back 'in state' emotional game weeks for this program.

Some seem to state on this board that every game of every week is the biggest game of Clark's career.

Was in 103 row KK with my son. Had the most annoying Carolina fan screaming bloody murder the whole game. My ears literally bled. Also got fussed at and talked down to by a contingent of fans for standing up. I very politely shut that down.

I mean, he's on the hot seat rightfully so. It's not a bad thing. Outside of a few extremists, App fam supports App fam. I want to see him succeed, but as I noted earlier, we need to see sustained success. App football isn't "playing close games" and "moral victories". Old man Jerry would kick the teeth in of teams we should beat and we had a swagger unmatched for years. I remember talking to him after a game where B Quick got a taunting penalty after shredding rhe defense and he said "I encouraged it!". Let's smash ECU

ECU / Marshall was a weird game. Has anyone watched it? Marshall up 10-0 at the end of the first quarter. ECU up 13-10 at the start of the fourth. Final 31-13 Marshall.
Marshall’s star RB had a Weird game too. 18-85 with 3 tds. Sounds great. Weird breakdown though:
16 carries, 15 yards, 1 touchdown.
2 carries, 70 yards, 2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter.
