Sad thing is, this is becoming our identity. "We will give you a game...." "we will do our best ....." "we upset michigan...." "we upset Texas AM". I want to start being favorites. I want to start expecting and being expected to win those games. This "aww shucks, we gave it our best" sh- is tired.

I’m no statistician, but TractorApp seems to have less math and stats skills than I do. One 6-6 season after 9-3; 10-4 seasons is literally the opposite of a trend. If App goes 6-6 this year, it might be a trend.

TractorApp isn’t talking about 40 games. He’s talking about a select set of game, from 2021 conference championship until now, that supports his claim that the sky is falling. That small sample size completely ignores the 17 games previous to the ‘21 SBC championship against FBS opponents that App won while being coached by Shawn Clark.

I’ll cherry pick my own stats, Shawn Clark was 19-8 including a bowl win, a SBC championship appearance, and a top 25 win before losing to JMU on September 24, 2022. That looks like a strong resume to me.

That is the same thing every team deals with. That’s when a really good coach shines. I’m not on the ready to fire Clark bandwagon but I live in reality. I’ll be as kind as possible and say we don’t seem to be getting better.

That is the same thing every team deals with. That’s when a really good coach shines. I’m not on the ready to fire Clark bandwagon but I live in reality. I’ll be as kind as possible and say we don’t seem to be getting better.

We must not be watching the same games...The team is in better shape, they play calling is better (its not great, but its not the vanilla predictable thing it was) & the energy is better. Sure we're not as good as the 2019 team but that was the best team we've ever had. We can't be "The Best Ever" every year
