For those of us that couldn't make it, how was the experience for everyone else? Looked packed and sounded loud.

More ECU fans than I expected at least from what the tv cameras showed.

Best game day atmosphere in a long time. Props to EZU they brought a lot of fans. More props to App Nation, we BROUGHT it today!

The BUZZ was there! YOSEF zipping in was awesome . The players were up. Unfortunately purple was all over, even in tailgate and premium areas.

Lots of season ticket holders and Yosef Club members have immediate family that are Pirates. Nothing wrong with seeing some Purple this week and showing some hospitality. Now it’s on us to fill up Dowdy next year.

Awesome atmosphere. Only thing my middle aged ass will complain about is all the random people trying to sit in seats that aren't theirs. I'm in the last row and all these rando's trying to sit and stand behind us making a mess.

People like this give our entire school a bad reputation. We have our fair share of jerks. These folks pay for tickets, gas and in some cases overnight accomodations and have to endure that crap. Sickening!

Yep. I enjoy a beverage too but I’m ok with no beer sales in KBS. Purple folks around us were good fans and wanted this series to continue.
Now what’s up with Rivers St deck after the game? GW and yesterday 45 minutes to get out! IT has been slow in the past but gradually you get out. Dead sitting still almost 40 minutes.

I too witnessed way to many people being obnoxious Aholes to visitors. It approached Georgia Southern status. Also rushing the field after beating a 0-2 team was stupid.

No excuse for the ugly, drunken behavior towards the ECU fans. They were good visitors. I grudgingly kind want to give the students a pass on the field-rushing. The atmosphere for this game was great, in large part due to the massive student turnout and they all stayed to the end even in the rain. Best student fans in the country.

Do we track student attendance at games? Had to be 10-15k there on the sideline and the hill! Crazy turnout, but also with a ton of people comes a lot of drunk obnoxious ones.

Concessions on east side…losing soooo much revenue to poorly designed ease of access. And yadayadayada…yes I know it was a sellout record crowd but problem solve because it’s just a joke. But it’ll never change until u hire chik fil a to consult and handle ur terrible traffic flow. Rushing field…stupid. Drunk students harassing ecu folks…stupid. But a huge loud crowd and good win

Great atmosphere. I can almost at this point tune out the people that have drunk too much.

Thought the stadium was electric. There were quite a few Pirate fans in my section and tailgating around us. Seemed all fans enjoyed the pre-game. Felt like game day ops were slightly improved considering the attendance.

Personally didn’t see any obnoxious behavior but I hate to hear that some had that experience. Correcting that behavior falls on US, as App fans. I had to check a foul mouthed App fan in game 1 who couldn’t watch his mouth around my kids. Letting a cuss word fly is not an issue but dropping bombs every other word is a problem. Being disrespectful to our visiting guests is unacceptable and App fans need to step in and correct such behavior. Then send the student’s parents a bill for doing their job for them.

Yell and intimidate the opposing team all you want once they step between the lines but after the game, turn the switch off and go back to acting like you have some sense. This is not a difficult concept!

Did not make it to the game but KBS looked AMAZING on TV. You could tell it was a big time atmosphere and stadium looked first class for sure.
As for our fans, there were also many rude and obnoxious fans at the UNC game who were spewing profanity laced insults at the UNC fans. It wan’t a good look on us. Can only imagine what yesterday was like.
We do not need a reputation for being bad fans either home or away but I think it is becoming a real issue.

I had to hold back an ECU fan from understandably beating the crap out of some of our mouthy drunk asshole students. Good news is other students were also helping me hold him back. So, it was only select students that were the problem -- but, they were a big problem. Hopefully, the students not causing the mayhem help reel it in some.

If I wasn't concerned for the legal ramifications for the ECU fan, I would have let him beat the shit out of our fans. They deserved it. He didn't deserve an arrest record though.

Yes...quite embarrassing to me. This bunch of kids need to learn how to win with dignity. I am talking about students not players.

I’ve heard from quite a few people that the app fan behavior was especially poor. Very disappointing.

I was once a drunk student, as I’m sure many of you here were. Doesn’t mean we were swearing at opposing families.

We may need to increase security presence, including in the student section, to manage kids that get too drunk before they get out of hand. I hate to put it all on the kids because there are surely some loser adults too, but I’d bet 90% of the bad behavior is coming from them.
