At least I won't have to see that loss. 3 games not being available to watch is a new record in a season for me for long time back I believe.

Calling a long time mod and app state fan a bandwagon is a smooth brain activity

Not specifically directed at you, but I really don’t get the point of almost “gloating” about not going to a game.
Myself and my crew will be there, wouldn’t miss it!

Re: Marshall game 6 p.m., NFL Network
Knew I wouldn't make it to the game hard to afford these days and time is short supply, this coming weekend is the last game I will make it to this year. But I would have watched it if it was on a channel I had, NFL Net takes that away. Didn't get to watch ODU or Wyo game either.appstate24 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 2:00 pmNot specifically directed at you, but I really don’t get the point of almost “gloating” about not going to a game.

Oh boy.....what's the over/under for number of times EMT have to take a student from the hill to an ambulance? Have you seen the videos on neersbarstool of the hill on a normal game day? A whole day of tailgating is scary from what I've seen in the past. Last year for homecoming we went into the peacock lot where students were tailgating and I saw the ambulance come in 3 different times in a 2-hour period. The Rock will be rocking for sure!

Youtube TV free trial allows you to watch NFL Network during the trial. No cost, and easily cancel after game. Plenty of bars, restaurants, friends that probably had the channel Wyoming game is on, plus plenty of alumni watch party events.biggie wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 2:05 pmKnew I wouldn't make it to the game hard to afford these days and time is short supply, this coming weekend is the last game I will make it to this year. Yeah I usually don't do the free trial stuff in case I forget to cancel and waste money, as it is tight. And time is tighter else I would go somewhere to watch. Weekends usually my main time to do school work and there is these kids and house to take care of.appgrad2010 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 2:30 pmYoutube TV free trial allows you to watch NFL Network during the trial. Can't help you there....got to remember to cancel. Only 6 home Saturdays in Boone a year, occasionally 7....just don't get the plethora of reasons, justifications, excuses people give for missing games that aren't really anything super important.biggie wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 3:13 pmYeah I usually don't do the free trial stuff in case I forget to cancel and waste money, as it is tight. I expect a close game. It looks like both these programs are in trouble this year. Of course Francier and Ali will probably have record games

Re: Marshall game 6 p.m., NFL Network
I mean there were times I made every game in a season home and away. Taking care of wife and 3 kids and a bunch of bills and being back in school have removed free time and money.appgrad2010 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 7:11 amCan't help you there....got to remember to cancel. Do we net new $$$ from being on NFL Network? If not it is a real slap in the face for ESPN+ SUBSCRIBERS

Re: Marshall game 6 p.m., NFL Network
If anyone in the know can explain our current Sun Belt media deal I would be interested in hearing it. Good question about NFL Network games. How does what Sun Belt teams receive from ESPN compare to legacy and new members of The American? Sad to me that ticket holders and their schedules are not considered. May be the situation we have now, but I sure don't like it one bit.

FUBO also has a free 7 day trial and supposedly notifies you when the trial is about to end. I used it for the ODU game, but cancelled the next day.
