Interesting that Noel hasn’t found a home yet. RB’s are a dime a dozen, and he is a pretty good one. Or maybe he has and we just don’t know it yet.
Supposed to visit Mizzou this week.
He just committed to Drink. Haha, wow. I love it!! Promise I didn’t time it up like that on purpose.
Me too . Saw it less than an hour after posted.

Happy for Noel, hope he does well.

I thought he was looking to get closer to home, but I assume he couldn’t turn down that opportunity.

Hope he blows up. Only concern with that is message it sends.

Harbaugh's revenue sharing is one of those hypotheticals that sounds "okay" when it rolls of the tongue. However, it is fraught problems.
No matter how you slice it you are transitioning amateur sports into professional. Rev share is fine for professional but contradicts all the basic fundamentals of amateur models. Are they going to rev share by taking the total FBS revenue and equally divide it among all the FBS schools equally? I doubt it. It sounds good as a sound bite but everybody knows Alabama and Texas and all other top P5 schools have no interest in sharing their $100M plus revenue with App State or others.
Amateur model is barely breathing and will be dead soon. The fallout will be programs outside the top 20 and all non rev sports. Will be interesting to see how Title9 is navigated or dismissed.
That is the big question. Will we eventually have to see Title IX removed or will football need to be classified separately from all other sports?
The issue of "trans boys/men" into girls/women's locker rooms/sports is going to blow up Title IX all by itself unless the Supreme Court steps in. Biden has said "screw it; all ahead full bore!"
If it happens to the Apps, it happens to me!

If healthy Noel has all the tools to be a big contributor.

Best all around back we’ve had in a while.

A heavy majority of them see less time and stats but the small group who do get the attention so everyone thinks they can. The reality is moving up is normally not the best thing if they care about playing time and improving their actual stock. I would like to see a study though because I think year two at the P5 level tends to go better for these players but Noel is just going for one year and Missouri has backs so he will have a little bit of a hill to climb to beat someone out.

I did not want to get political but I have thought about that as well. Combine that with the fact that women and other men's sports see the football money and feel they should get it equally despite none of them making a profit and losing money for their schools. There are women making big money in real NIL now but it is a small number of them. Another reality is that P4 and top G5 schools are very different from the rest of the country. I wonder how much, if any, does any FCS, D2, D3, or NAIA provide? I would love to see a breakdown of the NIL/pay to play by school for all levels.

NIL is "technically" not pay to play, at least that wasn't the intent. We all know the reality based on the horrible was it was rolled out with no governance.

You are correct when it comes to "technically" the definition of NIL. My belief is that it was "actually" intended to leagalize and expand pay for play that has been going on for years. I just find it impossible to comprehend that anyone would possibly believe it was going to work out any other way.

I don't mean to speak for Black Saturday but I think he was referring to the NCAA with his comment.

You are probably correct but my comment casts a very wide net.
