I don’t know. But I did watch running back Emmett Hamilton put a beating on some poor soul from Lees-McRae in the TKE boxing tournament in BKG back in the 70s. Now that was a great event. Wayne Clawson - the referee in the ring.

Walter Lee Thomas knocked him out in the TKE boxing tournament at PB Scott’s . Brown came in with a bandana dancing around and Walter Lee sent him to the canvas. Pretty sure it was in Round Two.
It was the Championship bout and both had knocked out opponents heading into the match. Everyone thought Brown was going to win until the thunderous right hand connected.

David Caldwell, our shootout and discus thrower, was a little wild in the ring but he would knock opponents out of the ring during that tournament. Then we’d throw them back in. Great times.
