Hopefully the pouring rain at the beginning isn't a foreshadowing of Saturday. :(

They’re on their 3rd string QB. We need this one.

Everybody plays on the same field and in the same weather. I wish it was going to be 65 and sunny on field turf but it’s not. Find a way!!!

Aguilar must secure the football better than he did against Troy. That scoop-and-score wasn’t completely on the offensive line.

I'm aware of that. Playing in a tropical storm goes a long way towards negating that advantage. It's not all that difficult to get out of the way. Takes QB game management down to a minimum.

I've played in some absolute frog stranglers before. Pretty much two hands and run for both teams.

For all we know, the 3rd Stinger could be better than the 1st stringer

This is the what 4th QB that we've faced this year with no tape on. I'd rather the 2nd string guy play we was a game manager at best.

The 2nd string guy didn't do much so we assume the 3rd stringer is worse.

I do not assume anything in these situations as we do not know what the guy can do or not do.

Just logic based on how bad their offense performed with the 2nd stringer. But they were winning with their D and the QB running it seems.

Smith is there second highest runner 75 rushes for 280 yds (1 TD), consider he only threw 96 attempts with 48 completions (2 TDs, 2 INTs).

An amazing game I just looked at, them vs Ball State (4-8 overall)

Total offense
Miami - 216
BS - 365

Rushing yards
Miami - 46
BS - 274 (avg 5.2 per rush)

Both had 2 turnovers

POS
Miami - 22.5 mins
BS - 37.5 mins

Amazing Miami won 17-15. And can we run against them?

Seems like it might have been a wiser decision to move the game to tonight. Is there really that much to move up a bowl game like this one?

Turnover touchdowns or special team touchdowns might have factored in. They are high on their defense and special teams.

This storm is looking to be something else. By the time it gets up here to Calabash on Sunday, we are looking at 40 to 50 mile per hour winds, coastal flooding, and possibly 4 to 6 inches of rainfall. Glad the water isn't warm or we would be looking at a major hurricane.

Can't be slack on special teams. They are going to want to manage this game and rely on defense and field position, hoping we make a mistake.
