We get a chance to back up our talk when Liberty comes to town.
Liberty returns a good bit so they should be a good team in 2024. We should know where we stand after our first 3 games. Liberty and Clemson will give us a great gauge to find out where we should stand.
Liberty QB just entered the portal.

GO APPS!!
If the starter, he started at Tenn. Got booted due to two arrests. I guess he found religion at Liberty 🤣🤣. They also have a highly rated QB coming in that had several P5 offers I believe. I guess the contribution plates got filled to get the new QB an NIL (making assumption here)🤣🤣

Over the last 10 years how many G5's have beaten P5's who finished the season in the top 10?
I think the G5 is 4-6.

But let’s be honest with ourselves. The G5 team is getting their Super Bowl and the P5 team they play doesn’t have a lot of interest in being there.
I'm talking about over the course of each season the last 10 years. Like Marshall beat ND last year but did they end up a top 10 team? I don't think so. We beat A&M but we know they sucked. G5's readily beat P5's in the regular season but usually the P5 ends up with a bad record. I'm willing to bet that those wins are minimal at best. I'd take it a step further. How many P5's finished the season ranked in the top 15 and they had a G5 loss that year?
It may not be that those were sub par p5 that got beat, it may be that the psychological effect of losing to someone they believe they should have beaten easily takes a toll on the mindset that causes them to have a bad season.

I've always thought about that. Confidence and momentum are part of the game. Would A&M ended up with 7 or 8 wins, if they had beaten us. Would Michigan have been more successful had they started the season in the manner they expected to? Just like I think had we not collapsed against JMU, we would have finished with 7 or 8 wins.

Frankincense $42 a pound …. Myrrh $37 a pound …. Now gold, about $1800 an ounce.

Just saw that. This changes a lot for them. It will be interesting to see if Chadwell goes after Burger now. I am going to guess that Burger's hand is damaged goods if Chadwell passes because he wanted him so bad out of high school and reports were that he was upset App got him.

Good grief...just because a particular coach does not recruit a transfer does automatically mean he is damaged goods

Too many loyal App fans don't want to face the reality that we don't corner the market on college football talent. Our rosters always have some hidden gems and we put some dudes into the NFL but there are a whole bunch of players out there who are good. There has been way too much thought process put into Burger.

I know he got hurt early in his first start, but you could tell there was something special about Joey immediately and Burger didn't have that same gravitas.

Burger got hurt on the seventh play of the season. Yes, he had a few downs during the ‘22 season but hardly enough to give us a fair assessment.

Black helmets with stripes, black jerseys and yellow pants.

It was the helmet stripes bad mojo that led to the injury. 🤣🤣

Therefore, what coaching staff would be making a smart choice or taking a flyer with that thin resume he has for the portal? He's likely stepping down a level if he wants a chance to play sooner or why is he going to likely hold a clipboard and wear a headset at a G5? From what we know he had a medical redshirt? One play away from starting again at APP? Being the man in '25 with 2 years in a good football program. None of his decisions passes the smell test for my limited information.

Maybe they get the JMU QB, if he hasn't found a home yet?

Seriously folks. What is the obsession with this young man. He made a decision and it is nobodys business what led him to that decision. Why the hell can't you leave it alone. It is actually getting creepy that folks are so into this kids business.
