ban UNCC talk

Becouse of, I guess we nothing really to talk about, UNCC has become a hot topic to discuss. Lets keep this in perspective, they are basically a division 2 team, who is going to really struggle, so why are we justifying their importance by continually talking about them? Yes, eventually might become a factor and a rival, but that's a long, long, way away. These guys are desperate for attention and validation, so why are we giving it to them? I don't see ECU, STATE, or even UNC fans given them any kind of attention to the degree we are. Now, I will admit I have in the last few weeks chimed in on the subject, so to not be a hyprocrite, I will admit that when the UNCC trolls came on our board, like a idiot, I answered them, stupid. I now after watching them come on OUR BOARD, THAT THEY ARE DESEPRATE FOR ATTENTION, and we have given them what they have wanted. Lets just quit talking about them, they just are not worth our time and effort.

The subhumans of UNCc, as in the fans themselves, are the true topic of most of these threads. Their "school" isn't news worthy, but their insolence and unrelenting nature grinds some of our gears. Just as the fans of their forfather Georgia State have disappeared from Georgia Southern's nerves when foot met leather, so too will the ignorant masses that commuted to undergrad in Harrisburg.

I would rather ban Liberty talk. Nothing good comes of it.

UNCC is a good rival for all sports besides football for now and that may change in a few years.

I've grown tired of the UNCC v App talk due to the constant bashing by both fan bases. To put this is some perspective, both programs are sister institutions of the NC system fighting for a slice of NC. Both institutions have been oppressed at some point or another by The Hill. Both schools have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING at the FBS level sans a less than 20% winning percentage against FBS programs while in FCS.

The arrogance and ignorance displayed by both fan bases is embarrassing regardless of who started it first. I've noticed that any thread on YC or NNN that is positive for one program, it takes no less than 3 posts for a fan to "stick their tongue out" at the other. It's tiresome trying to sift through all the BS looking for actual discussion.

Personally I see quite a bit of upside for both programs to start an out of conference in-state rivalry (in all sports) that could get the fans excited. The programs are polar opposites and each has their pros and cons. Let's save the incessant spewing until there is a deal inked.

I live in Charlotte. We are giving them more press than they are getting in the rags here............I'm focused on our season which we can control.

I have no interest in discussing UNCC for the reasons that you cite. It seems pointless, to me, to engage in such immature banter that devolves into silly name calling. It is clear that both fanbases are starving for recognition and view the other as an impediment.

Will be interesting to see how long not talking about uncc works out
considering some posters are actually obsessed with it.
