I hear ya Mark Ricks. It’s all about having fun. I didn’t mind the white out because I thought we would wear white. I’m more mad about the ineptitude and lack of execution from the athletic department. Why would I wear the same color as the opposing team? If we want to do something new, it should be with something we already wear at home. Like a “Gold Rush”.

Agreed. Somehow the nittany lion fans do not start cheering for the Illinois team wearing their white unis into Beaver Stadium. ...and I do not believe the actual Illinois team thinks the Penn State fans are pulling for them ..

The visiting team always wears white for Penn States white out.

I think the only thing they screwed the pooch on (well, outside of trying the white out in general) is they didn't even use the Working aint working snowcap A on the helmets. How are you going to advertise that on all merch and then not even use it?

I dont have any pure white gear. I have a few black quarter zips, dark gray polo, 2 dark vests, a few tshirts, and a light gray quarter zip. Light gray quarter zip it is. Close enough

Or, the Liberty staff that tells their recruits they are on a mountain at 600 ft elevation are just telling lies..

I like the gold rush idea. I have told folks for a long time we should encourage our fans to wear gold to away games. Black doesn’t stand out in anyway on TV. But gold shows up. Even when most of our fans wear black at home it really doesn’t look like we’re doing anything special. It just doesn’t stand out.

I've seen multiple reports of massive flooding, trees down, impassible roads etc... I'm in Charlotte and was planning to drive up tonight but the bridge across the New River to our cabin is flooded. Hoping to come up tomorrow and can bring a generator if your son needs to borrow it?
