Who will take the first snap from center this coming season?

There appears to be three possibilities. One of them might surprise you….

Id heard Swann in the lead from a HS coach on the trail.

Most likely yes.

I'd really hoped Wilson would be in the mix, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Same here. He may be a victim of the transfer portal?
Somewhat surprised he hasn't hit he portal. Maybe he is Stonewall's "mystery man".

My money is on the true freshman. The light bulb just hasn’t come on for Wilson yet. It takes some time for some guys.

I've learned to temper my pre-season optimism over the last 4 years...but I just read the bios of these guys...and I'm starting to get excited. Seems like we've got some real talent with real depth. If the OL can gel quickly...

Out of curiosity I looked up the national rankings on 24/7 sports for some of this year's QBs coming out of high school and a few of our former players too. Based on potential coming out of high school I have high hopes for this group. We have 2 QBs on the roster who were rated higher than Chase Brice when he graduated high school...and we know how he turned out.

Don't think so. He entered the transfer portal in 2021 and I have not seen him pop up anywhere.

This tells me...other than Chase Bruce, your rating number means nothing... absolutely nothing.
