Thanks for dropping by. Most probably don’t think you’ll have too much to worry about given our last game and injuries but we’ll see.

Our weakness is our secondary. If your oline can protect your QB, you'll stay in the game throwing the ball against our secondary. Our strength is our RB room and defensive line.
Anything can happen, Im sure it will be a great game!

Well OL and QBs are hurt. So we don’t know who will play as we were down the 3rd string last game. And then the WRs don’t want to catch much. A lot of things would need to turn around quickly.

We all lose from the headache I’ll have from looking at the field. Though I think it is better than coastals.

Coastal's turf reminds me of the stuff we had before 1995 with the Flying Yosef at midfield.

Flying Yosef +1 better than Gortons fisherman -1!
Current throwback Yosef #1 and classic.
Sorry, not trying to get Boise discussion off track.

We usually drive by there on our way into Myrtle during the summer and I have to make sure not to look.

hey GuesswhoBronco! welcome. You'll find this forum to be one of the most welcoming for other schools. We were excited to learn we'd be playing, we have a lot of pride but also a lot of repect for Boise. We feel like we are one of the best G5 programs in the east, and Boise is one of the top in the west...makes sense. Both programs have so much respect across the college football world. Hoping for a great game and no injuries...can't wait to welcome you to Boone!

Jackpot Nevada is 2 hours and 45 minutes away. Wildhorse Casino is in Pendelton, Oregon and is 3 hours and 20 minutes away.

East coasters remember when asking someone from the mountain states “is it close” can lead to five hours drives!

It’s all relative. Safe travels to those lucky enough to make the trip!

Here is a link to the article that I just wrote about our game, complete with stats for all players from both rosters as well as relevant team stats for both teams. I hate researching opponents, as a fan I always find stuff that makes me nervous. Your passing game and our secondary has me nervous.

Thanks for sharing that! You might want to double-check a couple of the player names and stats. You’ve got Kaedin Robinson as our receiving leader. He transferred out after last season. This year so far it’s Barnes and Stroman with most of the catches.

I appreciate you taking the time to do this and come by!

Don't worry too much about our passing game. Unless things change dramatically, our receivers drop too many passes, our qb throws ints at the worst time and then on the occasions that we actually complete the passes and look like we are going to score we have a habit of fumbling at the goal line. Thus far this season our passing game has often been derailed by our own players. But if we ever cure those mistakes, it could be dangerous.
