#1 was on defense Saturday but it wasn't Collins.

He is injured but should be back at some point this season. My outside view estimate would be the Georgia Southern game.

That is surprising to me. He was rehabbing just last week. Oh well, life goes on. this staff is showing a level of discipline that those players obviously aren’t accustomed to.

You really hate to hear it considering this should be his lasty year of eligibility and the fact that he went into the portal only to decide to stay in Boone.

He certainly did not optimize his opportunity.

Im I pressed that they followed through with a serious punishment showing they are going tontruly hold accountability.

Im also impressed how under wraps they kept the whole thing until the actual announcement.

Not only that but Dowell was saying he would get a shot in the NFL. Sad to see it go down like this but kudos to Dowell holding a senior accountable. I wish Shawn Collins good luck.

Collins has all conference talent and yes , was thought to have a shot at the next level . Leon showed glimpses in practice . I hope they learn something from this.
