Re: If we win...
I'll admit that I'm a little naive when it comes to NIL, but I thought the NIL had to come from organizations from outside the university, not directly from the university. Perhaps that has changed. But if not, the money we get from a Sun Belt team making the playoffs could not go into a NIL fund, rather help us with the East Side stands renovation.

Re: If we win...
i'm fully pulling for JMU to make the playoffs, theres tangible and intangible benefits.
Tangible is the $$ already discussed.
Intangible-breaking the glass ceiling for sun belt teams to give us a more "equal" footing with AAC and PAC teams in the future. App will be 12-1 or 13-0 next year and if the playoff team from the previous year was a sun belt team it could factor in the bias of the committee.
Plus the AAC is easily having its best year since losing its top brands, and if it doesn't translate into a playoff experience it just plays into the overall feeling that the AAC is simply another G6 conference and not a cut above.
Seeing the conference distributions really shows how far behind the sun belt is. Theres no reason that ECU should be getting 4X+ distribution as us, when our national brand eclipses theirs at this point. Having playoff teams=eyeballs=negotiating power.
